It consists of a <strong data-start=\"464\" data-end=\"492\">high-strength steel core<\/strong> with a <strong data-start=\"500\" data-end=\"549\">thick molecularly bonded layer of pure copper<\/strong> on the outside.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"326\" data-end=\"719\">This combines mechanical strength (steel) with excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance (copper).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"326\" data-end=\"719\">The electrode consists of a <strong data-start=\"503\" data-end=\"541\">high-tensile low-carbon steel pipe<\/strong> uniformly and permanently <strong data-start=\"568\" data-end=\"634\">molecularly bonded with a layer of high-purity copper (\u226599.9%)<\/strong> over its entire outer surface.
